History

Our school is located in the Munition Factory, a Toronto based production facility that houses many diverse media-focused companies. The name is derived from the buildings use in the 1900's as an actual munitions factory. Within this facility lies Cherry Beach Sound: one of Canada's leading recording studios. This year, they are proud to celebrate over twenty-five years of business and industry leadership. With this experience, they bring a fresh, real-world approach to music education, with an emphasis on interaction with fellow musicians, live performance, and improvisation.

Cherry Beach Sound was established in 1982 by Carman Guerrieri. It is a full service studio for music, audio post production, commercial production, CD mastering and audio enhancement. This facility is a proud member among the top recording studios in Canada, with a comfortable yet professional atmosphere. They have worked with a very diverse roster of musicians from The Jonas Brothers and Timbaland, to The Tragically Hip and Marilyn Manson. Cherry Beach Sound also holds many notable broadcast/commercial credits involving Much Music, National Geographic, Red Bull, 20th Century Fox, and World Vision.
